Talent & Recruiting AI Guidance
At Dandy, we use AI as a powerful collaborator, and we encourage candidates to leverage it to help prepare for interviews. That said, we want to ensure the process reflects your authentic skills and experiences. If you have any questions, please reach out to your recruiter.
Preparation
- Researching Us: Use AI to summarize our company’s latest news or to understand our products and industry challenges.
- Practicing Your Answers: AI-powered mock interviews are a great way to practice articulating your experiences.
- Refining Your Story: Use AI to help you quantify the impact of your work. For example, you could prompt: “Help me rephrase this achievement to be more results-oriented: ‘I led a project to migrate our platform.’
Application
- You are welcome to edit your resume & cover letter yourself and use AI to help highlight experiences and skills relevant to the role you’re applying for.
Take Home Assessments
- Please do not use AI to complete interview assignments. You are welcome to use AI as a thought partner to brainstorm ideas, structure your approach, or refine your writing after you’ve generated core content. We want you to rely on your own experiences and skills. If you use AI, please disclose the tools you used and how it helped shape your approach.
- If there is an exception to this guidance, your recruiter will let you know.
Live Interviewing
- The live interview is our time to get to know you and your thought process. Please do not use AI during live interviews. Our team wants to get to know your authentic self through a real conversation without distractions. This means nothing should be running in the background.
- You are welcome to have your resume and notes available, but we expect the conversation to be natural and interactive.
